Now back to the regularly scheduled shit talking

So yesterday I received a challenge of sorts. St Louis area blog Highway 61 issued a wager involving blog color schemes changing pending the result of tonight's Chiefs vs Rams game. As anyone familiar with the series should know, the Chiefs and Rams play each other during the last week of the preseason for the Missouri Governor's Cup. I find it kind of odd that the Wiki entry doesn't even picture the thing, and I honestly have no idea what it looks like. I'd hope it would be something like...


Anyways, if the Chiefs win, Highway 61 will sport some lovely Chiefs red, although I am kind of partial to the Royal retro powder blue they already rock. If the Chiefs bus breaks down and the Rams are awarded a forfeit, I will be sporting some blue balls this weekend.

As as interesting side note, the last time I actually paid attention to this game was two years ago when we made the trip to StL for my bachelor party. We initially planned on heading to the Dome, but the idea of watching football in a high school gym and paying $40 a piece to do it was a bit ridiculous. Instead, I ended up getting hammered on beer, getting sick from the feeling of provel cheese hitting my mouth, and getting crabs from a stripper who looked a lot like Grace Jones.
